Music by Eva Campbell:  People

People Cover Photo.png

Eva Campbell stands up to People with her latest track. Fresh out of the studio with double Grammy-nominated producer and long-time collaborator Billy Farrell, Dublin-based Eva Campbell is back with her new antibullying anthem ‘People’ - available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music.

Written from the heart and inspired by her own experience, ‘People’ is a song about sharing and overcoming the effects of bullying, and recognising that it is not okay to be a bystander to it. Eva is delighted to link the song with this fantastic event ‘United Against Workplace Bullying’, as it is the perfect platform to share the song’s message.

After getting to the knockout stages on The Voice UK 2019, Eva released her debut single ‘Echo’ in October 2021. The track went to Number 1 on the Official Irish iTunes Top 100 & Pop Charts, and her second single ‘Stay’ followed with another Number 1 on iTunes and also made it into the Top 20 Irish Homegrown Charts. ‘People’ is her third single.

Bella Ikpasaja is an Organisational Culture Specialist, and NED helping to shape workplaces where innovation and collaboration can flourish. Respect, dignity, and trust are cornerstones of her work. Following a publishing deal with the LinkedIn Corporation, Bella designed the LinkedIn Learning course, ‘From Compliance to Culture: A Psychological Safety Framework for Inclusion,’ to equip organisations with tools to mitigate interpersonal safety risks. Within six months of its March 2023 release, over 32,000 learners across industry sectors had completed the course, it received 83-86% 5-star ratings, and 105,000 professionals globally had saved it as a must-watch resource. The successful milestones led LinkedIn to integrate this bite-size e-learning into its new 'Accountability Learning Pathway' for leaders and senior managers.

From Compliance to Culture:
A Psychological Safety Framework for Inclusion

Much progress has been made in recent years in making professional settings free from harassment, discrimination, bullying, and other forms of incivility. However, aggression and violence—both physical and psychological—still exist in many places. If your workplace is not deemed safe by employees, this can lead to resignations, reputational damage, and financial losses. In this course, Bella Ikpasaja shows you how you can take an organisational approach to avoiding the pitfalls of psychological, emotional, and physical harm to your staff. Bella explains how to build employee safety, embed and assess personal safety culture, implement procedures for supporting and signposting, and many more systems and policies that can help you protect your staff, wherever work-related risks come from—within or outside your organisation."

The Bullied Brain.png

Why do we say we have zero tolerance for bullying, but adult society is rife with it and it is an epidemic among children?

Because the injuries that all forms of bullying and abuse do to brains are invisible. We ignore them, fail to heal them, and they become cyclical and systemic.

Bullying and abuse are at the source of much misery in our lives. Because we are not taught about our brains, let alone how much they are impacted by bullying and abuse, we do not have a way to avoid this misery, heal our scars, or restore our health. In The Bullied Brain readers learn about the evidence doctors, psychiatrists, neuropsychologists and neuroscientists have gathered, that shows the harm done by bullying and abuse to your brain, and how you can be empowered to protect yourself and all others. Not only is it critically important to discover how much your mental health is contingent on what has sculpted and shaped the world inside your head, it is also the first step in learning ways to recover.

While your brain is vulnerable to bullying and abuse, it is at the same time remarkably adept at repairing all kinds of traumas and injuries. The first part of The Bullied Brain outlines what the research shows bullying and abuse do to your brain. The second part of the book, "The Stronger Brain" provides case studies of adults and children who have undergone focused training to heal their neurological scars and restore their health. These accessible and practical lessons can be integrated into your life. Strengthening your brain acts as an effective antidote to the bullying and abuse that are rampant in society.

Foreword by Dr. Michael Merzenich, "the father of neuroplasticity," and he also contributes his knowledge, insights, and research in The Bullied Brain to help show you how to empower your brain to fulfill its power and potential.

Dave's book.png
By Dave Gregson

Wolves have been extinct in Great Britain for centuries. With discussions

rampant about reintroducing them back into the wilderness in Britain,
Gregson’s novel subtly highlights the arguments around this and what it would mean for human-wolf coexistence.

The protagonist Jack is on the lookout to spot a wolf, convinced that they
might have survived in Scotland, hidden all this time. How were the local ecosystems affected by their absence and what value would they have by being brought back? The potential for wolves to affect the ecosystem in this world that needs to redevelop its environment is immense.

Dave also cleverly weaves the theme of workplace bullying into this story.

About the author

Dave worked for nearly twenty-five years in the health and social care and
charity sector. After being dismissed following workplace bullying and
lack of understanding of his autism, Dave won a legal case against his
former employers, a large national care charity. The case received much
press attention. Subsequently, Dave set himself up as an inclusion and
equalities campaigner, and volunteer for causes such as workplace bullying,
autism awareness, mental health, safeguarding and animal welfare. Dave is also a leading advocate of rewilding, environmental issues and a voice for unpaid carers.

We are proud to have Dave as an Ambassador for the Stop Hurt at Work campaign.

the jordan legacy

The Jordan Legacy CIC was established in memory of Jordan Phillip

Our mission is to help us move toward a ‘zero suicide society’ which, in our eyes, is a society that is willing and able to do all it can to prevent all preventable suicides.

Why ‘Zero Suicide’?

‘Zero Suicide’ can clearly be a (desirable) target to aim for but it is also a philosophy and framework that has been developed over the past 20 years to help those trying to make significant and sustainable shifts in reducing the number of suicides.

In January 2023, The Jordan Legacy launched a new strategy designed to raise the bar in terms of collective ambition in suicide prevention and to plot a course of collective practical action that can realise that ambition. Shared learning and collaboration are at the heart of this strategy because we know we can’t do this alone but together we can achieve a transformation in suicide prevention.

Our mission is to move the UK towards a Zero Suicide Society, which we defined at the start of 2023 as a society that is willing and able to do all it can to prevent all preventable suicides.
